NCL Fall Season Registration NOW OPEN!
August 26, 2019 - October 10, 2019$35
If you’ve ever had any interest in hacking or cybersecurity, now’s your time to dive in and give it a try! No matter what your major is or what your career goals are, if you are a high school or college student, you can sign up for National Cyber League’s fall season to gain access to a practice gymnasium, an individual competition and a team game for just $35 — a real bang for your buck even if you can’t make the WCTC Cybersecurity League weekly Friday meetings. Regular registration closes at 11:59pm ET (10:59pm for us in Wisconsin) on October 10; late registration (October 11-14) adds $10 to that price tag, so wait for Mark’s signal (Canvas/email) to get the game code that will associate you with WCTC and then get on it ASAP!
At the end of the season, NCL will provide you with an individualized scouting report that looks great to future employers. The games are based on the CompTIA Security+™ and EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)™ performance-based exam objectives, and the categories are Open Source Intelligence (OSI), Scanning, Enumeration & Exploitation, Password Cracking, Traffic Analysis, Log Analysis, Wireless Security, Cryptography and Web Application Security.
(The preseason game is mandatory to be placed in brackets, so make sure you don’t miss it!)
